DraftKingsturned the dreams of one American true on Thanksgiving, after the company awarded a $22.4 million jackpotwon off a single $0.20 wager, for what is currently the largest single-sum won from any online casino in the United States.

The win occurred on Wednesday morning and has set a new record for the highest amount paid by an iGaming operator, with the previous record set earlier this year when another person won $9.28 million. The current win more than doubles the previous tally. Commenting on the win, DraftKings executive VP and general manager of iGaming, Christian Bogstrandsaid: “Setting another record for the largest US online casino jackpot is a major moment – and it speaks to the incredible experiences we’re creating for our customers.
