Blue Apron’s promotional offers operate a little differently than most other websites. Instead of a coupon code that you enter into their online shopping cart, BlueApron instead has promotional offers that are link-activated.
What does that mean? It means that the promotional offers in the list above are special links that will take you to special areas on the Blue Apron’s website where this discounted price is being offered. The discount itself will apply when you go to complete your order. In the bottom right hand side of your screen, you’ll see an order total like this:
When the promotion has ended, then the link will only take you to their front page.
More Ways to Save with BlueApron.com:
One word: Wine. BlueApron now offers wine delivery, costing just $10/bottle. And the best part? No cooking instructions!
Cancellation Policy:
You can cancel your subscription to Blue Apron at any time. It’s not like a fitness center where they sign you to long term contracts or anything like that. All you need to do is contact their customer support center (we’ll include their phone number below) and cancel your plan. The only thing is that you’re still responsible for orders that have already been shipped to you.
Contact
You can reach their customer help center by calling either of these two numbers, between 10am to 6pm (EDT) on weekdays:
(646) 891-4349 or
(888) 278-4349
How Do You Skip a Week with BlueApron?
Getting meals send to your door each week is pretty handy and convenient. But what if you’re out of town for a week? Or maybe you want to try some of the ‘best recipes’ you’ve received in the past, or you just want to save some money?
You can easily skip a week if you want to. On Blueapron.com, go to your upcoming weeks and scroll down to the week you want to cancel. Click on ‘manage’, and then click on ‘details’. There you can select ‘skip this week’. As long as you haven’t past your week’s changeable date (the last day where you can make changes before the order locks), it’ll work no problem.
A Bit of Blue Apron History:
In 2012, Matt Salzburg, Ilia Papas and Matt Wadiak started their venture by sending boxes stuffed with ingredients to their customers. The contents were used to cook a myriad of recipes, and these first orders were shipped from a commercial kitchen in Long Island City.
Two years later the three partners officially announced that they would be opening their own location in California. Their success grew steadily for the first two years, allowing them to open up a secondary location in New Jersey, and even a third in Texas.
Expanding to Nationwide Delivery:
Upon opening the third location, Blue Apron began to ship their products nation wide. They saw massive success and in 2017 they opened their fourth location in Linden, New Jersey.
They have since evolved into more than just a delivery service. Since 2014 Blue Apron has been running their very own market. This store features high-end kitchen tools and cookware under their house brand. There are also many different types of cooks books to choose from, the official “Blue Apron” apron, as well as binders so you can store the recipes contained within the weekly deliveries in an organized fashion.
Now with Wine!
In September 2015 Blue Apron launched a wine delivery service, sending out six 500ml bottles to customers every month. The wines are made for Blue Apron by local vineyards.
Blue Apron’s Eco-Friendly.
The company is passionate about the environment, so to ensure they keep their footprint as small as possible, all of their packaging materials are made from recyclable or biodegradable materials.
